Funding Announced for Muswellbrook in the 2018 Community Building Partnership Program

Michael Johnsen MP, Member for Upper Hunter today announced that $46,003 in funding through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program has been secured for organisations in Muswellbrook.

“The NSW Government’s strong economic management ensures we are in a position to invest in these important local projects.

“This is fantastic news for Muswellbrook, and this grassroots funding will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social, environmental and/or recreational outcomes for our local area,” Mr. Johnsen said.

“I congratulate all our local organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”

The list of successful projects in Muswellbrook for 2018 are:

  • Muswellbrook PCYC $ 4,723
  • Muswellbrook Men’s Shed $ 9,280
  • Muswellbrook Pistol Club  $22,000
  • Early Links Inclusion Support Service $10,000

The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
