Funding Announced for Dungog in the 2018 Community Building Partnership Program

Michael Johnsen MP, Member for Upper Hunter today announced that $26,100 in funding through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program has been secured for organisations in the Dungog Shire.

“The NSW Government’s strong economic management ensures we are in a position to invest in these important local projects.

“This is fantastic news for the Dungog area, and this grassroots funding will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social, environmental and/or recreational outcomes for our local Dungog area,” Mr. Johnsen said.

“I congratulate all our local organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”

The list of successful projects in the Dungog Shire for 2018 are:

  • CWA Dungog-Clarence Town                                 $ 6,100
  • Dungog Bowling Club Ltd.                                       $ 5,000
  • Dungog Memorial Bowling Club                             $ 5,000
  • Bandon Grove School of Arts                                  $10,000

 

The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
