Funding Announced for Singleton in the 2018 Community Building Partnership Program

Michael Johnsen MP, Member for Upper Hunter today announced that $63,116 in funding through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program has been secured for organisations in Singleton.

“The NSW Government’s strong economic management ensures we are in a position to invest in these important local projects.

“This is fantastic news for Singleton, and this grassroots funding will directly help to create a more vibrant and inclusive local community with positive social, environmental and/or recreational outcomes for our local area,” Mr. Johnsen said.

“I congratulate all our local organisations that were successful in their application and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area.”

The list of successful projects in Singleton for 2018 are:

  • Singleton Neighbourhood Centre $23,109
  • Singleton Australian Football Club Inc.  $18,291
  • Singleton Netball Association Inc. $11,616
  • Northern Agricultural Assoc Inc. Singleton $10,100

The Community Building Partnership program has funded some 13,800 community projects since it commenced nearly a decade ago.
